Now Blog Using Evernote With Postach.io

If you’ve been looking for an easy way to blog, and I mean easy, then my friend, let me introduce you to Postach.io. As a fan favorite of Evernote, learning about a service like Postach.io means adding another awesome way I can use my Evernote account. Check out the video below to see just how easy it could be to set up your next (or first) blog:

Clean, minimalist blogging platforms that focus on writing and easy posting such as Medium are slowly becoming the next ‘thing’ in the blogging world. And Postach.io is right there with them. It was created by Shawn Adrian and Gavin Vickery of Input Logic, who wanted an easy way to publish after writing their notes on Evernote. After an easy sign up, just write your blog post using Evernote, tag the post as ‘Publish’ and it will be published live on your blog. Easy.

Blogs are given domain names like yourname.postach.io but you’re allowed to link a personal domain name if you want. There are currently 6 themes available to choose from that favor the clean, minimalist styles with rounded corners that will make your blog look neat, tidy and design pretty.

The service includes all that you need from a lightweight blogging system, RSS feeds, Disqus commenting, support for multimedia – basically anything you can store on Evernote, images, audio, video/YouTube etc. – you can publish on your blog as well. While the Postach.io’s features are pretty basic now, the plan is to extend them in the future to include more specialty themes, social sharing, wikis and more.

Right now, the service is free but there are plans in the future to monetize by charging for premium features or by converting users to Evernote premium (and doing a rev share with Evernote). However, for now the focus is to grow the user base. Working with Evernote, I’m sure that’s not going to be hard. Either way, let me know what you think if you try it out!
