What Really Happens Filming A Sex Scene

Sex scenes are filmed to make it as hot and heavy (or as awkward, depending on the movie) as possible, to make the rest of the world feel inadequate about their real life sex lives. Well, the reality is that it isn’t sexy for the actors (or everyone around them). Yep, pretending to hump (or get humped by) an actor you don’t really know isn’t all shits and giggles. That shit is downright awkward. So you gotta hand it to actors when they make all of that look believable.

Thanks to director Joe Carnahan for releasing this slightly NSFW clip of a behind the scene shot of Brooklyn Decker and Patrick Wilson ‘having sex’ for his new movie Stretch. It’s pretty cool to see them turn it ‘on’ and then ‘off’ depending on whether the camera is rolling.

Not to be confused with porn sex, which is a whole different ballgame altogether. Movie sex has a whole lot more ‘passion’ and very little actual penis to vagina shots and are more focused on getting the ‘look’ that they’re fucking for all they’re worth. As opposed to porn, which is more focused on well… actual fucking. The closer the shot, the better.

Anyway, this makes me wanna watch the movie even more. With Jessica Alba, David Hasselhoff, Ray Liotta and Chris Pine on the cast list, sounds like it could be a fun movie. Now that it has ruined all movie sex for me, what else is there?
