So this piece of news has been flying around the internet. The UK has just issued a ban on a number of BDSM related porn including (but not limited to) facesitting and female ejaculation. Granted they banned a bunch of acts including “spanking, caning, and whipping beyond a gentle level; penetration by any object “associated with violence;” activities that can be classed as “life-endangering,” such as strangulation and facesitting; fisting, if all knuckles are inserted; physical or verbal abuse, even if consensual; the portrayal of non-consensual sex; urination in various sexual contexts”. And yes, all of the above bothers me, but none more than the ban on facesitting and female ejaculation.
So a guy can cum on a woman’s face in porn but a woman can’t cum on a guys?
Like, WTF?
And classifying female ejaculation under urination just shows that some people have not done their research.
I imagine a bunch of pompous Brits sitting around in a circle drinking tea and tut-tutting about the condition of porn these days. “What’s with all these women suffocating men with their vaginas by sitting on their faces? And then they have the audacity to have liquid gush out of said vaginas and moan loudly? How terrible for these poor men! Surely something must be done! I know; we shall ban this terrible thing!”
It really gets my goat that while so many are trying to normalize desire, sexuality and preferences, here comes a law that negates all that effort. I mean seriously, what were they thinking when they passed this law? And who are these people to think that they can define what are ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ types of desire?
It’s hard enough as it is to get women to be ok with the sexual functions of their own body, to be ok with female ejaculation, heck to even get people to stop thinking of female ejaculation as pee, and here comes a law that classifies it as pee and then straight up outlaws it in porn! In what world is female ejaculation dangerous?
And how is facesitting any better than getting facefucked – an act that is perfectly legal I might add. Facefucking involves a man jamming his penis hard and fast into a woman’s mouth and is often shown in mainstream heterosexual porn, is fine for DVD and online. But facesitting, which has a woman sitting on a man’s face, is not?
This whole thing stinks of misogyny!
It appears that any show of female dominance is banned but not male.
Not only that the ban on fisting is also a strike against homosexual porn. So it would seem that in its own subtle ways the UK lawmakers are trying to get its people to toe the line without outwardly saying so – sounds perfectly British to me.
So here we are, one step ahead and two steps behind. Just when British Board of Film Classification gave the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie a certificate of ‘15’ – a movie that not only is about BDSM (and many of the banned acts above) but is also responsible for many women rethinking their sexuality – we also have the UK government and the Authority for Television on Demand (ATVOD) banning BDSM related porn.
What kind of message are we sending here exactly?
