“Being a porn actress was something I had always had in mind. I’m a very sexual person and I love to show my body. I suppose it’s logical that I felt attracted to it. At that time it was only a fantasy, I had just started university and I didn’t have time for anything but studying.”
It was only after gaining her own insight into the seedier side of the world of porn, that Amarna decided to strike out on her own; not having to rely on other people. What could have been porn’s loss was almost somebody else’s gain. Perish the thought!
“I decided to send some emails to the biggest porn companies in Spain, just to inform myself and see their answers. It was terrible, the kind of shoots they were offering had nothing in common with what I wanted to do. All the shoots had poor payment and unhealthy environments. I was scared so I decided that this job wasn’t just for me.
“Soon after, I started to take photography and video classes. I discovered my passion and very soon I was trying to do my own porn movies. I recorded my friends in the way I wanted porn to be: representing real people in real situations. No creepy plots in which the plumber fucks the hot babysitter; just people having fun as if they where in their own home.
“At some point I decided to create my own porn production company, and as a natural step in the evolution of my sexuality, I began to appear also in front of the cameras. I’d been working as an artistic model for five years so I already felt comfortable in front of the cameras. Those were my first experiences shooting porn.”
Amarna poked her tongue out at the usual porn career path, wherein a performer will pay their dues on camera for any number of years before finally heading behind it and calling the shots. It was Amarna’s steely determination, abilities and pleasant nature that soon garnered her attention all the way from the other side of the world.
“While my company was growing bigger and I was learning how to perform and film more efficiently, Abby Winters saw my videos and contacted me to see if I was interested in shooting with them. I saw their website and found their content amazing. Their videos represent the sex and the ideas I wanted to do. I started shooting for them when I was 19 years old, and step-by-step my career as a porn actress grew.
“At that time I was only doing two or three scenes per month because I didn’t have enough time for studying and working, but 18 months ago I finished my degree and now I can say that working in porn as an actress and a director has become my full time job… and I love it!”
“Love it” might be something of an understatement. This is a woman who has seen and done some of the best the business has to offer. She counts her most important scene as working with stud Rocco Siffredi.
“I was shooting in Budapest when he contacted me to film a scene for his next movie with the American company Evil Angel. It was a threesome with a Belgian girl called Lula Boobs and it was fan-tas-tic! I love rough, hard sex and the scene was really brutal, Rocco is a passionate person and we had a great connection. He was so happy with the result that he called me again to do another scene.”
Amarna also holds her work with Alis Locanta and Sex Art in high regard, particularly her red-hot scene with the delectable Samantha Bentley. It’s passionate, organic and orgasmic; two performers at the top of their game. You would almost believe they are a real loved-up couple.
“I’ve also worked with some of the finest European actors around: Mike Angelo, Ian Scott and Markus Dupree.”

“One of my own personal rules to be in this business is to only shoot with people I really feel attracted to. Before each shoot I always request to see a picture of my partner and if I don’t like them, I reject the shoot."
“Because the producers want to have a good, passionate scene, they usually understand when I explain the situation."
“When you are working with something so intimate and fragile as your sexuality you have to take care of yourself and know perfectly what you want to do and don’t do in front of the cameras. I would not do something that I don’t enjoy in my personal life, and in the same way, I wouldn’t fuck with someone that I don’t like in my private life!”
Of course, it goes without saying that this Spanish siren has a few rather tasty ideas in mind when it comes to her ideal scene. True to form her fantasy shoots incorporate glamour, decadence and doses of fantastic fucking. We’ll drink to that!
“In my ideal scene I think the most important thing would be to shoot real sex, with people having fun and doing the things that they really enjoy. To use the cinema image and aesthetics are also important bases for a good shooting: great lightning, well done outfits and high quality make-up. And no acrobatic positions, please!"
“Regarding actors and actresses, I would love to shoot with the Spanish actors Juan Lucho, David el Moreno and Franck Franco, and I also love Rocco Siffredi, Manuel Ferrara, Mike Adriano and James Deen. For actresses, I’m in love with Amber Nevada, Samantha Bentley, Skin Diamond, Kloe Kane and Ariel Piper Fawn.”

Well, we all crave job satisfaction don’t we? For most of us it’s as unobtainable as quick service in a busy bar, avoiding stains when drinking red wine with a white shirt or a comment from Piers Morgan that’s actually agreeable. For while the majority of us slave away in offices, fields, yards or wherever we get thrown, Amarna is travelling the globe and getting paid to have wild, passionate sex with all kinds of beautiful men and women. Jealousy is strong thing, and you’d hate Amarna if she wasn’t so damned fun, charming and disarming.
Travelling the world and taking in new experiences is what she’s all about. She describes her home city of Madrid as an “operational base” but she has fallen slightly out of love with her old stomping grounds.
“It’s really dirty with contamination, always crowded and with an awful weather,” she says. “For me it’s easier to be there because I’ve my family and friends and I can chill when I need to have some time for me.
I see myself more as a nomad person, living “on the road” as Kerouac would say. I have a small suitcase that I use as a handbag on my trips and in it I’ve all what I need for living during months. I’m not a materialistic person and I definitely don’t need too many things to be happy. The only things I bring everywhere are my laptop and my camera.”
This is where Amarna stands out from her contemporaries. Far from being the fake-titted, fat-lipped, lewd and rowdy porn queen that a lot of performers try to be, Amarna isn’t shy in allowing her passions outside of porn to colour and influence her work too. There is a lot more than meets the eye with this intelligent and beautiful woman.
“I always find some free time to read, even when I’m working and travelling non-stop. In fact I read my last book while I was on an airplane. It was “I’m Sure You’re Joking, Mister Feynman”, and it talks about the crazy life of Richard Feynman, who won a Nobel Prize for science.
“I also love outdoor activities, such as hiking, climbing and running. Being in nature is one of my biggest passions, and to take pictures of wild animals makes me really happy."
“But above all, the thing that makes me the happiest girl in the world is travelling. To discover new things, learn from other cultures and get out of my comfort zone is fantastic. I’m very lucky because my job allows me to travel around the world getting money for it. When I go to a new place I always take some days free to discover the area…I’m very curious! My last big trip was around Australia and New Zealand, and this last summer I went to Japan. Next month I’ll be in South Africa…”
That’s all well and good, but the life of porn star can leave one a little jaded at times. The pressure of dealing with being an object of constant lust, leaving no stone unturned in presenting yourself to the world. It must be tiring and as much as you get put in you, it must also take a lot out of you too.
“I will be working in porn as long as it makes me happy. For now I enjoy my job and I do not even think in leave it, but I’m aware that as an actress this business can be really stressful and it’s easy to burn out. That’s why I’ve been always very calm regarding my shootings, and as soon as I start to feel tired or stressed, I take holidays."
This year I’ve been working non-stop, maybe having 3 or 4 free days per month, since I arrived from Australia in February, so I decided to have a deserved holiday in Japan. In fact I’m answering this interview in an airplane!”
