5 Songs About What Women Wear
And they say that women are obsessed with clothing. Well not according to these songwriters who seem obsessed with what we drape over our bodies. We all know that lingerie is sexy but, yeah, by the time it gets to that stage you’re on a whole different level. Here are five songs about what women wear above their lingerie and how that in itself is sexy:

Long Cool Woman (in a black dress) – The Hollies

The arsenal of every smart woman – the black dress. Any woman worth her salt has one of these in her wardrobe because she knows a good black dress can be all one needs to raise his temperature.

Pencil Skirt – Pulp

A pencil skirt is one of those pieces of clothing that can be simultaneously demure and sexy. They hug the hips just so, and yet end almost always below the knees, as if to say, “Yes, underneath this long hemline is my luscious behind, of which you can only see the outline of now.” Oh the tease…

Short Skirt, Long Jacket – Cake

Well, at least he knows what he wants you’ve got to give him that. That said, what he wants (short skirt, long jacket) seems to be of good taste! I mean, it looks sexy as hell, her long lovely legs peeking out from under that loooooong jacket…

Cheap Sunglasses – ZZ Top

Cheap sunglasses are the best and the lads at ZZ Top know this too! Just what you need the day after a big night out, and the perfect accessory to hide behind when you just can’t be assed to put makeup on. And the super large ones will make almost any girl look good.

Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini – Brian Hyland

And finally the Pièce de résistance, the simple ol’ bikini, a sure fire way to turn heads. Never before have bikinis been so small – I’m sure Brian Hyland did not have our current bikinis in mind when he was singing this song. Although bikinis have much in common with lingerie, for some reason it’s ok to see women in a bikini but a big no-no when it’s lingerie. Go figure!
