Elodie Vermeulen, AKA LostFish is a French-born self-taught artist who started off as a freelance character designer but swiftly moved towards digital paintings and a more artistic sort of expression. Clearly inspired by the work of the classics, her artwork, though seemingly gothic in the modern, steampunk sense of the word, has a historical feel to it, like a sort of insane Dangerous Liaisons, full of odd half woman, half child amalgams, dressed in 19th century clothing and posing provocatively.
