If you’re a regular BaDoink reader, you may have gotten very excited after seeing last week’s report about the German social networking for sex workers Kaufmich.com, which was looking for a reviewer to attend to their multiple brothels and give their impartial opinion on the service and facilities of each joint and employee.
Of course, if moving to Berlin is an impossibility, or if you don’t speak German, or if you don’t have a business-oriented college degree, your chances of landing that fantasy job may have been chastised before you even filled the application.
But hey, just because the brothels in Europe won’t take you, it doesn’t have to mean the dream is over! Leave it to Nevada’s own Bunny Ranch to keep hope alive for all Americans, and open up a similar position this side of the Atlantic.
Dennis Hof, proprietor of the Bunny Ranch and six other less famous brothels (40% of American legal houses of prostitution!), is a colorful character who recently released his book, “The Art of Pimp: A Love Story.” Not one to stay behind when it comes to business, Hof made public this week that the Bunny Ranch are looking for official control testers that are willing to perform the difficult task of having sex with beautiful women, evaluate their performance and be paid handsomely for it. Terrible gig, right?
“I’m looking for someone who’s fun, has some personality and wants to have a good time,” Hof told the New York Daily News. “Obviously a very young person or a person who has not traveled or been around would not be ideal. We want somebody who gives us a true, honest, worldly perspective.”
Now, before your euphoric hubris leads you to immediately email your two-week notice to your boss and flip the entire world off, you should probably consider that there’s more than a few eager applicants for the job. Having said that, there’s also more than one position open, and they’re looking for varied people who can perform their sexual and non-sexual tasks up to the standard.
“We’re going to hire about a dozen people and some of them will be full time and some of them will be part time. I’m already getting flooded with applicants,” said Hof, who also mentioned they’ll consider female candidates. “We’d love to have a woman or two. Even couples to be honest with you. A lot of our customers are couples.”
Your ancestors may have not been aware of it at the time, but we’re sure as they arrived to Ellis Island, this is the American dream they were talking about.
