Christopher Lee's Silent Night Of The Damned

Don’t ever think that age is a barrier to the true Dark Lord of Hollywood. Even at the age of 92, Christopher Lee has released his third consecutive heavy metal Christmas song.

The actor, known for his roles as Lord Sarumon, Count Dooku and countless Hammer Horror characters, has unleashed Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing upon an unsuspecting world.

After 2012’s A Heavy Metal Christmas and last year’s A Heavy Metal Christmas Too, Lee has made it a trio of festive metal songs.

Darkest Carols takes the form of a medley of the most traditional Christmas carols such as Silent Night, Hark The Herald Angels Sing and Jingle Bells. They all get the shredding, heavy metal treatment you know you’ve been waiting for all this time.

Whether it gets to number one in the charts is neither here nor there. Let’s hope this is an annual tradition with a long future ahead of it.
